The Chronic Kidney Disease Management Support is a clinical decision support tool to assist the healthcare providers in the management of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). The user only needs to input the patient’s name (optional), age, sex and race (the default is ‘Non-African American’, including the Chinese) and serum creatinine. The program will calculate the patient’s estimated GFR (eGFR) and decide on the disease stage. It would suggest a kidney management plan. It would also provide a diabetic management in case the patient has diabetes mellitus.
