The Integrated Dialysis Facilities (HK) Ltd, the Hong Kong Baptist Hospital and the Lions Kidney Educational Centre are close partners in renal education. From 1980 to 2000, they had organized 8 Certificate Renal Nursing Courses. All of the course students are now leaders in the renal nursing field.
From 2010, the organizers partnered with the Open University of Hong Kong to organise the Professional Certificate in Renal Nursing. The courses are of high standard and were well received.
The 4th course commenced in June 2013 and the theory part has been completed. The students are now doing the practicum.
