It is now recognised that the treatment of proteinuria in renal patients can improve the renal prognosis. The angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI) and angiotensin receptor blocking agents (ARB) can reduce the proteinuria, but in many cases, proteinuria is reduced but still present in significant amount. Dr HO Chung Ping proposed a cocktail approach in the proteinuria management in the Clinical Nephrology Update 2013 in the closing lecture.

This video is taken in the Clinical Nephrology Update 2013 seminar. It is organized by the Hong Kong Nephrology Group, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Hong Kong Medical Association.
