Anticoagulation is a very important procedure in haemodialysis. Without anticoagulation, the blood will clot in the artificial kidney and dialysis will be impossible. Ms Wong Sui Lan gave a lecture on anticoaguation in haemodialysis and the use of different types of heparin.
